Koru Hub have their He Tohu Trip next week - Tuesday 25 February - and desperately need some more whānau helpers. If you can help out please contact Amaria    amaria@amesbury.school.nz.

Swimming Lessons

You will have received an email a few days ago about Term 2 Swimming Lessons.

Apart from letting you know that is was taking place, the main reason was to get feedback from those whose child(ren) will not be participating in the school's swimming lessons. If you child WILL NOT be swimming with school next term, please complete this short form to confirm this.

Lost & Found

Please can all parents check uniform items and clothing (socks, hats etc) at home to ensure that your child has their own items.

We have several pieces of clothing currently missing in action; possibly they have mistakenly been taken home, as many clothing items look similar. All missing items are clearly named. If you find any clothing at home that does not belong to your child, please pass it into the school office and we will ensure it finds its way home. Thanks for your help with this.

We also have some items in the office that are unnamed:

  • Sleeping Bag - from camps last year
  • Large dog toy - currently keeping Rachel company
  • Bracelet and a watch
  • General (shoes, jandals, gumboots, book, green school uniform top sz 10, headband, jazz shoe)

If you think these sound like they could be yours please look through the photos below.

Community Notices

North Wellington Junior Football Club

Registrations are now open for children up to the age of 14 at the NWJFC.

See the flyer below for registration and contact details.

Johnsonville Junior Rugby

Wellington Rugby have introduced 2 additional grades this year which are 8/9 and 10/11 combined Riprugby grades.

This is a new initiative so that those children that would love to play rugby but don't because they are a little intimidated to make a tackle, now don't need to. This game is the same as rugby but a rip instead of making a tackle.

If you are interested please see the flyer below.

Samuel Marsden Collegiate School is hosting Barbara Arrowsmith-Young, the founder of the Arrowsmith Program, on Tuesday 25 February at 7pm, Marsden School Auditorium, Marsden Ave, Karori.
