Simply read the webpage and send John (communications@amesbury.school.nz) an email as to what you want and you'll either be added to a class or put on the waiting list if the class is full.

Community Notices

Basketball

The Nairnville Recreation Centre is running an afterschool basketball clinic on Wednesday afternoons. Two sessions available which coincide with school terms:

3.30 - 4.30pm for 7-9 year olds

4.30 - 5.30pm for 10-12 year olds

Term 1 sessions start on the 12th of February.

The clinic focuses on the fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Each session ends in the game where the kids can practice the skills they have practised in a game situation.

Hockey

The Northern United Junior Hockey Club is in the process of opening registrations for the 2020 season:

Year 3-6 - 6-a-side

Year 7-8 - 11-a-side

Plimmerton FunRun

This year's Plimmerton FunRun will be held on Sunday 1 March. 

The event is all about getting people out there and moving, enjoying everything that the wonderful Plimmerton area has to offer, and supporting one another along the way.

This year tickets are even cheaper so that it is more accessible for people to enter. Tickets are only $10 for the kids 2.5km and all other events are $20.

There are great spot prizes for best dressed and lots of other prizes throughout the morning.

Karori Lions Karnival and Fair

The Karori Lions Karnival and Fair is on again – Sunday 16 February from 10.00 until 3.30 pm. at Ben Burn Park, Karori. 

Quality Stalls selling superb merchandise, adventure rides, children’s activities, raffles, lots of food and a full day of stage entertainment for the family.  

Come along and have some fun.
