Year 5 & 6 Camp Update: Wednesday

By: Demelza Topp | Posted Wednesday December 4, 2019

Today we did the Abel Tasman National Park walk...and what an amazing walk it is!

We started at Marahau and walked the full 12km to Anchorage. It was certainly a challenge and many students (and teachers) are complaining about sore muscles.

A few brave souls went swimming in the sea (so cold!) at Anchorage and we then caught a water taxi to Kaiteriteri. The highlight of the water taxi ride was cruising past a colony of seals, especially trying to spot the new baby seal.

We made it home safely and we will all sleep tonight.

No photos today as the teachers are having difficulty uploading them via wifi. We will make them available to all parents of camp children next week when the group gets back. Sorry about that.
