Student Conferences

Just a  final reminder that Student Conferences have been organised for the last week of the term. Sign up if you haven't done so already.

School App Update

The Amesbury school App will be upgraded to SchoolAppsNZ on Friday 5th April. 

What will happen?
Between 9-10am on the above day, an alert notification will be sent to all of our School App users. The notification will be as follows.

"Your School App requires some important updates. Please click here to read more."

On opening this alert you will see a message that explains the update along with a link to begin the update. On clicking the link it will take you to the App Store / Google Play Store to download the SchoolAppsNZ app.
On downloading, the app will open up and display our School's App home screen as per normal with all of your Alert group selections, absentee information etc. saved. You are now upgraded to SchoolAppsNZ.

We are One - Community Event

Mia Mostafa , the Churton Park Community Centre Advocate, would like to invite Amesbury School Community to join them in the first event of Multi-Faith series at Churton Park Community Centre on Friday 5th April from 7 -9 pm. See the flyer below.

The first session will focus on Islamic traditions and celebrations and how to understand and engage effectively with the Muslim Community. 

 Dinner will be served, you don’t need to bring any food just bring your family and friends and join together.

Lost and Found

Please check photos and see Rachel at the office if any of these items belong to you. There are also socks, socks and more socks... which are now all clean because Rachel took them home and washed them.

Only un-named items are held at the office. Any named items 'found' are returned to the student or their hub.

Community Notices

Marsden Open Day

You are invited to the Samuel Marsden Collegiate School Karori Open Day, Sunday 5 May, 2pm-4pm. The Principal’s address is at 2.10pm. This is a great opportunity to hear about Marsden’s direction, see the Marsden campus, explore the benefits of an all-girls education and find out about Marsden’s Visible WellbeingTM approach. Scholarships - Marsden School Year 7 Academic Scholarships for entry in 2020 are open, applications close 16 May. Find more information and apply online.

Year 7 Information Evening - Monday 10 June, 7pm, Marsden School. All students and families interested in a Marsden education in Year 7 in 2020 are invited to learn about Marsden’s strategy, Visible WellbeingTM approach and the subjects on offer.

Enrolments – Apply to enrol for entry in 2020 by the end of Term 2.
