Wanting to know what being on the Board involves?

There are several face-to-face meetings you can attend to find out more about school trusteeship:

Wednesday, 27th March, 7pm, Amesbury School Library – a panel made up of current Board members will be available to answer your questions and share their experiences

Tuesday, 2 April, 6pm, Crofton Downs School. This programme, Kōrari, organised by the New Zealand School Trustees Association is designed to share the experience of existing trustees with potential new trustees and help them find out what it really means to serve on a school board.

However, we understand that people are busy and not always able to get to face-to-face meetings at the times they are being held. This thread is to allow you to ask questions of the current school trustees about their role on the Board - at your leisure. If there is anything you want to know, fire away, and a member of the Board will answer. With triennial elections in June, we are encouraging people to consider whether they might put themselves forward for election.
