Everything you need to know around and about school for the end of term.
The final day for this term is tomorrow, Thursday, 14 December. It will be a fun day, with a sausage sizzle, and ends at 1pm.
School Leavers – notice re ezlunch / Kindo school shop
If your family is leaving our school and moving to another school that does not use ezlunch or Kindo for school payments, you need to close your account. If you’re not sure about the new school, log in, go to My Details and click on the list of schools, scrolling to find your new school.
If your new school is NOT on the list, you will need to close your account. Send an email to [email protected] requesting to close your account. This request will need to:
Refunds and account closures will be actioned during January/February.
We have an album of photos of the Learning Celebration, including the Amesbury Awesomeness award winners and the students and staff we are farewelling, on Flickr here.
We have had a report of nits. Here's an old, but still relevant, article on nits, lice and their treatment.
Congratulations to Harakeke! They won the hub comp to get as many library books back as possible
As at the time of writing, there are still 162 library books out. Please have one last check and return any library books you find.
Please check all uniform items and make sure your children have their own uniform - it is very easy for them to pick up each others' fleeces, hats, etc, and take them home with them. Please bring any odd items of uniform you find back to school so they can be reunited with their children.
Also, a lot of lost property has piled up at school. It will be laid out on Thursday morning, and we really encourage all students and parents to look through it, reclaim their property, and take it home.
Grace Buchanan - Wellington North Primary Schools Citizenship Award
We are pleased to announce that the winner of this year's Wellington North Primary Schools Citizenship Award goes to Grace Buchanan. She was chosen because she consistently contributes to school life, is an insider in her learning, connects well with all other students, shows leadership and supports others who show leadership.
We are so incredibly proud of Kate, Gracie and Callum, who competed at Regional Athletics. Their performances were outstanding and they put in their absolute best efforts.
Kate - 1st 800mGracie - 2nd Long Jump; 2nd QuoitsCallum - 1st Vortex; 2nd Quoits*Special mention: Freeman finished 4th in Long Jump at Interzones, missing out on qualifying for Regionals by 1cm. This was the first time he had jumped over 4.00m and we are so proud of him.
