Noho Marae Trip - Book it in!

By: Angela Johnston | Posted Sunday April 2, 2017

After holding noho maraes at school in previous years, we will now have an exciting opportunity to be able to hold one on a marae. We invite all our students to join us; parents are also very welcome.

After reading the details below please complete this Google form by the end of this week, Friday 7 April.  All students will need a form submitted please.  There is space on the form for parents to indicate if they will also be attending.

Group 1: Monday 15 May - Tuesday 16 May. This consists of Lisa's, Natasha's, Hazel's, Mike's, Steph's and Jee's whanau groups.

Group 2: Tuesday 16 May - Wednesday 17 May.  This group consists of Demelza's, Georgia's, Anna's, Derek's, Gemma's and Gem's whanau groups.

We have attempted to have siblings in the same group. However it hasn't been possible for that to work for all siblings.  If your children are on different days and you would like to request one child changes into the other group please email Angela at angela@amesbury.school.nz.  This option is only available for siblings.

Children will need a normal packed lunch for the first day, jacket, walking shoes, sun hat, drink bottle,  clothes for second day, sleeping bag and toiletries. We will confirm next term whether bed rolls are required.  Mufti can be worn on both days -  no uniform required.

Parents who would like to attend will need the same equipment.  Due to limited space on the buses we ask that parents find their own transport to Upper Hutt.  Costs for parents is $45.

We hope as many students as possible will attend and look forward to this exciting opportunity.

Warm regards,

The Amesbury team
