Welcome to all our new and returning students, whanau and staff. Here's some things you may need to know...
Amesbury School Information
Our website is an excellent place to start for all sorts of information. You can find school notices, and news articles on recent events and school life.
If you would prefer to get notification each time we post news or notices, just enter your email in to the school blog. Alternatively if it works better for you to sit with a cuppa in the weekend and read everything in one go, then we email a Digest (e-newsletter) to provide you with a fortnightly summary of our school communications.
For all our upcoming events, check out the school calendar. This is regularly updated throughout the year, so sync it with your calendar or remember to check in regularly.
Our next event is our Pōwhiri to welcome all new families and staff.
It is very important that you let us know when your child is not going to be at school so we can ensure that they are safe and where they should be. Please read this article regarding students being late or taking leave from school for any reason.
Staff in 2017
We have our biggest ever staff in 2017, you can find us all here on the staff page, including our email addresses.
Music + Drama Lessons
There are a variety of music and drama lessons on offer at school this year, with some spaces left in all classes. Classes start next week. Check out more information here. All children must be re-enrolled for 2017 to attend classes.
School Swimming Lessons
Lessons start next Tuesday and run for 8 weeks. Everything you need to know is here.
Carpark and crossing safety
Keeping everyone safe as we arrive and leave school is a priority. Please ensure that students who are walking, cycling or scootering to school use the pedestrian crossing on Amesbury Drive.
Please also take the time to read this article on car park drop off and pickup processes.
We have New World and Subway lunch orders available. The link to the lunch order article is here, or you can find the link to the form under >school info>A-Z on the school website.
