Children's Eye Wear Protection

What is blue light? It is a particularly intense light wave released naturally by the sun and unnaturally by some electrical devices such as tablets, smart phones and computers. This light helps our body clocks know when it is time to sleep and helps us keep healthy sleep patterns. It is also important for colour perception, clarity and vision sharpness, among other things.

Harmful effects of blue light

  • Disrupts sleep patterns
  • Can cause screen-related eye strain such as irritation, blurred vision, dry eyes and headaches

SHADEZ are a premium Swiss design of glasses that help filter out blue light, and are available on line www.pcrevolution.co

They are available in six different colours – black, white, pink, blue, grey and red – and in three different sizes – Children’s (3 – 7 years) $59, Tweenies (7 – 16 years) and Adults (16 years plus) $69.

Our school has been offered the opportunity to be part of this promotion, where for every pair of glasses sold before 31st January 2017, Amesbury School will receive $8

Attached is a copy of the latest Channel Magazine with an article all about the effects of blue light and a copy of an advertisement.

It's this easy...

  • Go on line www.pcrevolution.co to order
  • When you order a pair of glasses from the PC Revolution web site you just need to nominate Amesbury School in the comments section.
  • Glasses will be sent directly to you.
