We've checked out the school and everything looks fine and set to go. School will be open as usual today.
Good morning. I trust you are all ok after the rough night NZ had.
Just writing to let you know that I have been down to check out the school and everything looks good and set to go. School will be open as usual today.
Students are well practiced in the earthquake drill but we will go over it again first thing this morning. There are no signs of burst water pipes, but it would be a good precaution to send your child with water to drink, just in case we hear that the water is contaminated.
A few teachers may not be able to make it to school today, so the day will not be quite as usual. If your child is feeling stressed or did not sleep well last night, please feel free to keep him/her at home with you. We will make sure students do not miss out on important new learning.
Thinking of NZ as the clean up begins.
