Year 6 Trip and Open Evenings - Raroa Intermediate

Monday 29th August - Year 6 students go to Raroa Intermediate for an open day. 

Year Raroa Intermediate has invited the Year 6 students from Amesbury School to spend a day with them on Monday the 29th August.

They will just need to wear normal school uniform.

Timetable for the day: 

1. Leave Amesbury 8:45 am 

2. Brief welcome in the hall 9:15 am 

3. 9:30am – 12:10pm Interactive learning centres with Raroa Year 7 students in the Design Production Centre and in class learning spaces 

4. Short tour of the school and lunch in a home room 1:10 – 2:10pm Question and answer session followed by a variety of Physical 

5. Education Interactive activities 

6. Farewell and dismissed from the hall by 2:15pm return to Amesbury 

If you can help with transport, please get in touch! 

We need transport at 8:45 am from Amesbury, and transport at 2:15 from Raroa. It is not necessary to stay at Raroa for the visit, as students will be supervised by teachers; Demelza will also stay at Raroa for the day.

Information evenings 

In addition to the Year 6 school visit there is an information evening and two open days for parents and whanau: 

Year 6 Parent Information Evening - Wednesday 7 September at 6:00pm in the School hall. 

Open Days for parents - Tuesday 6 September and Wednesday 7 September.
