Bikes in Schools - coming to Churton Park

Amesbury School has been selected for Bikes in Schools funding of $50,000 to go towards setting up a bike track!

Following our application and an evaluation meeting with the Review Team,  Amesbury School has been selected for the Bikes in Schools programme, and is one step closer towards construction of a bike track.

Amongst the applications, we were one of the three they had difficulty separating. There was approximately $180k to invest into the programme this year, so at this stage a decision has been made to fund 3 schools $50,000 each - the other 2 schools being Hampton Hill School, Tawa and Houghton Valley School, Houghton Bay.

We are now in the phase of putting a project plan together that will include costings/quotes, timelines and any additional fundraising required.

We thank, and look forward to working with Wellington City Council and Bikes On NZ Charitable Trust!
