Northern Zone Football

It was the perfect setting for a non-competitive event where everyone could enjoy the game, make great memories, and play their hearts out!

We played a total of five games, with a mix of wins and losses, but the focus was never on the scoreboard. Instead, it was all about teamwork, communication, and having a great time together.

Here’s what our ākonga had to say about the day:

Mia, Kyle & Kiaan – “The team passed the ball well!”
Rufus, Jack & Zara – “Good communication, like calling for the ball if someone was free.”
Vedant, Ethan & Dilan – “We were crossing the ball—kicking it into the middle of the goalie’s box.”
Gabriella, Luca & Zachary – “Everyone got a chance to touch the ball, passing and playing together.”
Ashwath, Reyaansh & Aryan – “Everyone was encouraging each other!”
Dishon, Theo, Abhirup, Adrik, Arnav & Taksheel – “The team had great spirit.”
Eiliano – “Scoring lots of goals—like over 10 for the day!”

A huge thank you to all the parents who helped transport our tamariki to the event. An extra special shout-out to Amy and Thandeka for staying the whole day to support and supervise our teams. We couldn’t have done it without you!

It was an amazing day of sport, teamwork, and fun, and we can’t wait to do it all again next time!
