Kate Dammer

Kate Dammer - Teacher, Koru Hub

Kia Ora

My name is Kate and I’m excited to be joining the Kuru Hub for 2024.

For the last 5 and a half years I have been working as a teacher in the Wellington Area. Most recently, I worked at Wadestown School. I have worked in New Entrants classes all the way up to Year 6 but my passion is teaching the younger children.

I am looking forward to working with everyone at Amesbury School. Enthusiastic for students to achieve success, encouraging them to give their best effort, take risks and persevere in their learning.

In my spare time, you can find me in a comfortable spot in the house engrossed in a book, hanging out with my friends or in the winter months skiing at Mt Ruapehu.

I can’t wait to start my journey at Amesbury School.
