Mauriora e te whānau!My name is Charlotte Montu, and I am very excited to be joining the Amesbury team working inour senior Pōhutukawa Hub.I began my teaching studies in Christchurch at Te Whare Wānaga o Waitaha. From there in myjourney I started teaching in Years 5&6. I also relieved in various kura in my second year inChristchurch and secured a position in a bilingual Year 4-6 Te Reo Māori unit.Though my journey has predominantly been in Christchurch I am an original Wellingtonian,having spent my childhood and adolescent years moving through local kura (Cashmere AvenueSchool, Raroa, and Wellington Girls College). It is lovely to be back and I am looking forward tothe awesome experiences to come!Outside of kura I am passionate about sports - netball, indoor netball, basketball, and touch. Ialso enjoy spending time with my whānau and friends eating good food, and listening toanything related to L.A.B or Beyonce.I look forward to meeting you all, bring on 2024!Mā te wā.
