Costs
For overnight stay and zoo day trip, the costs per child are $90.
For zoo day trip only, the costs per child are $17.
These costs will be added to your child's kindo account.
N.B - Wellington Zoo will provide sleeping rolls for overnight stay.
Non-uniform warm clothes for our night and early morning tour of the zoo
Good walking shoes
Drink bottle
Bag with toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, brush or comb).
Pyjamas or sleepwear
Pillow
Sleeping bag
Any medication that is not currently held at school. This can be handed to the teacher when you arrive at the zoo for the overnight stay.
Soft toy (if required)
Change of clothes
If your child is in Group 1 - they will also need a backpack to carry around their day items while at the zoo after sleeping over. We will keep all other overnight bags stored at the zoo, before taking them back on the bus to school to be picked up.
Please remember your child will need to be capable of carrying their own belongings back to the bus to come back to school.
Group 1 - staying over Wednesday 11th October
Group 2 - staying over Thursday 12th October
If your child is not staying overnight, they will still attend the day trip to Wellington Zoo on Thursday 12th October
Students can wear their own clothes on Thursday and Friday as part of the camp days.
