I am originally from China, and have been in New Zealand for 18 years. I have a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Graduate Diploma of Primary school teaching from Victoria University. I have worked in the commercial industry for a number of years before I switched to my dream job - teaching. I love kids, and I have a passion about teaching, learning and sharing things with them. I believe quality education can affect a child’s whole life. 

Prior to working at Amesbury School I was a relieving teacher, taught from new entrants to year 8 groups in several different schools in Hutt Valley. I enjoy learning new things, drawing, painting, reading, cooking, travelling, crafts and all sorts of creative things. 

I am very excited to be part of the team at Amesbury this year. I am mainly based on Koru Hub, but you may also see me around Harakeke and Pōhutukawa hub as a release teacher. I look forward to meeting and working with all tamariki, whānau and staff.
